Our New Online Consultation System

We’re making it easier for you to manage your healthcare online!

From Wednesday 28th January 2026, we’ll be switching to a new online consultation system called Blinx PACO GP, which will replace our current tool, PATCHS.

What you can do with Blinx PACO GP now

• Request appointments and submit admin queries

What you can do in the future
• Access self-referral options and health advice
• Submit blood pressure readings
• Book certain appointments directly (e.g. flu jabs – coming soon!)

We’ll continue adding new features over time to improve your experience.

Our new Triage model

We recognise the need to improve patient access and better manage appointment demand. Therefore, we are moving to a clinical triage system via Blinx PACO on Wednesday 28th January 2025.

The new system will see all GP / Advanced Practitioner appointment requests reviewed by a clinician to ensure safe, timely care based on need.

Thank you for your patience during this transition.

How to Access the New System

• Visit our website and click ‘Request an appointment online’
• No need to create an account or remember a password
• Simply enter your date of birth and NHS number each time
• You can find your NHS number here

You’ll then receive a link and passcode via email or SMS.
Click the link or enter the passcode to continue your request.

Please make sure your contact details are up to date so we can send your access code to the correct email or phone number.

What’s Changing for You?
